The transport runs on wheels
which are the most important part of any vehicle. The wheels are quite
sensitive to potholes and kerb. It may happen that your car may have hit a kerb
or have passed through the pothole and because of this, the front wheels might
get misaligned. The laser technology here can be used to correct the alignment
of the wheel. In the process of laser wheel alignment, the light beams are used to check and fix the alignment of the
front wheel of your car as they should be.
How can you judge if your car needs alignment?
The symptoms of the
misaligned wheels are:
- If the car pulls to different direction though the steering wheel is straight
- Uneven tyre wear
- The shaking and vibrating of the car through the steering wheel
- If steering wheel
is not at the center though driving straight
The need of laser technology in wheel alignment
The three angles of the
wheel alignment, caster, camber and toe are checked to ensure the improvement
of the performance of the car’s steering system and suspension system to handle
car smoothly and predictably.
Camber - it
is used to measure how much the tyre is vertical and if it is slightly lean
towards the wheel arch then it is described as negative camber and if it leans
towards the other than the direction of wheel arch then it is known as positive
camber.
Caster - it
is tough to visualize but is used to measure the wheel’s center and suspension
seats and how much the angle of tyre is placed centrally on the road.
Toe - it
measures toe in and toe out of the vehicle. If the wheel is pointing inwards
the centre of the car, it is called as toe in and if the wheel points outside
toward the road, it is called as toe out of the car. Contact
