As this is a cosmetic surgery, you will not be covered by the insurance and also you need to know that it will take around six weeks for complete recovery.

Sliding genioplasty - if the reason behind a receding chin is bone loss, then this surgery is the best option. Incisions are made on both the sides of the chin to access the lower jaw and a part of the bone is moved forward. A metal plate is used for keeping the bone in its place.

Chin implants – in this process an implant is inserted via incision made along the crease of the chin. If there is a slight receding then implant is the best option. There is also no risk of infection or any kind of complications.
